How much should I charge clients for my agency services?
Price on the value you deliver, not on what the software costs you and not on how many hours the work takes. It does not matter that a tool cost you a few dollars or a job took an hour. Most agencies make good money by delivering outcomes such as sales, appointments, leads or bookings, rather than selling a piece of software. Avoid positioning yourself against tools businesses already compare prices with, such as QuickBooks for invoicing.
Pick a niche with a high average order value that places a high value on its time, so you can deliver more value and charge more. For example, an AI that calls a personal injury law firm's clients every week to check they attend their medical treatment protects the value of their cases. For the legal niche, charge at least $997 a month. Agencies charge anywhere from $997 to $5,000 a month for snapshots like this, depending on the niche and the client. A large firm with many attorneys handles many more clients, which can mean more calls to review and more work, so you can charge more. Another example: an agency that brings a treatment center around $200,000 of business a month can charge far more than a few thousand dollars a month.
Anchor the price on the value delivered. If your offer is more projects of a known value, the client can price against that. For services that are harder to value, such as Google reviews or social media management, connect them to what they produce, such as more traffic and more sales.
When you are unsure, work out the value: ask how many calls or leads the business misses, its average order value and its phone conversion rate, then estimate how many extra deals your service brings in per month. As long as your price is clearly less than what the client will make from it, it is a good deal for both sides.
Do not race to the bottom by being cheaper than everyone. Be the premium option, because people pay for something that works better. Low prices attract clients who are more work, do not want to pay for anything and create more stress.
You can also ask the AI assistant for suggested price ranges for websites, social media management and other services.
